The recreation of the 3D dress was a big challenge. This Gucci Couture dress designed by Alessandro Michele was available to us during one day. It give us the time to study carrefully all the small details and make a photogrametry 3D scan.

We used the scan as a base for the latex body and dress, I then remodeled all the pleated organza parts present on the sleaves and the back of the dress.

I finally made custom tools for the sequins on the dress and the embroded bids that populate the tip of the orgenza parts.

Being on set give me the oppertunity to see how the dress moved during Björk's performance. I used a mixture of cloth and soft body setting for the simulation of the dress.
